The first edition of Ecce Homo was published in 1923 by Wieland Herzfeld in his publishing house, Malik-Verlag, Berlin. This edition was first published in Great Britain in 1967 by Methuen, London. Buff cloth covers with title in black on spine. Condition: Good, with light shelfwear to covers. Binding sound, no inscriptions. Dustjacket condition: Fair to good, generally shelfworn with a couple of small repaired tears to base of spine. Price-clipped. 14 page introduction by Henry Miller, 16 colour plates, 84 b/w plates. Upon the original publication in 1923 of Ecce Homo, Grosz was fined 6000 marks and the work condemned as "an insult to public morality". Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall
