Marbled textblock edges and endpapers. Crest of Cheltenham College in gilt on front cover. Condition: Good, with lights shelfwear and rubbing to covers. Prize bookplate dated 1880 to front pastedown, and another previous owners name in ink on blank page before half-title. Some foxing to inner endpapers. Binding sound, text clean. 342pp. Six b/w plates, including frontispiece, with five further b/w illustrations within text.
