After a carved timber pendant boss fell from the celing of the Chamber of the House of Lords on 21st July, 1980, this report was carried out to assess the condition of the ceiling and make recommendations as to its restoration. It includes sections on the historical foreground of the chamber being designed by Sir Charles Barry and decorated by Puigin in 1847, with details on the construction, heating, ventilation and lighting. The report is accompanied by many b/w images and several drawings. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall
