Buff colour cloth with titles in blue on front cover and spine. No dustjacket. Condition: Fair to good, with general shelfwear and some light soiling to covers ( a couple of drink ringmarks to front cover), and a few small indentations (from a pattern?) to rear cover. Watermark to front pastedown, not affecting the rest of the book in any way, and a browned patch (approx 2 inches long and 1/4 inch wide) to right edge of textblock from the front endpaper throught to page 23, not affecting text. Binding sound, previous owners name on half-title, otherwise no inscriptions. Very light browning to edges of text throughout. 146pp. plus adverts to rear. Colour frontispiece and many b/w illustrations and designs. A useful handbook with sections on the history of the printing block, the type of lino to use, designing, transferring the design, tools, cutting the block, printing inks, printing paper, hand block printing on fabrics and pattern forming.
