Softcover with dustjacket. Condition: Very good, with just a hint of shelfwear, no inscriptions. Dustjacket condition: Very good, with very light shelfwear. 62pp. plus 53 b/w photographic illustrations and 24 b/w floor plans. The purpose of this book was to present a picture of the variety and extent of Modern house building in the British Isles between the warms. Most items listed are free-standing, specially commissioned houses; speculative housing is nevertheless included, both semi-detached and terrace, but flats are omitted. Unexecuted designs and exhibition houses are motted, with the single exception of the Gane Show House. Scarce.
