The glassine jacket is in good condition, with some light wrinkling and soiling and a couple of small tears. Loosely laid in is a sheet of the prices achieved in the sale. 361pp. Many colour illustrations. This 147 item catalogue included some spectacular items, and the sale set a record for an English country house dispersal, It was also notorious for the dispute over the authenticity of lot 56, a pair of Louis XV porphyry and gilt-bronze two-handled vases attributed to Ennemond-Alexandre Petitot.
